50 Fresh Stacked Pixie Cuts That Are Huge for 50+ Women in 2026

One of my first experiences with cutting stacked pixies was with a woman in her fifties. It was almost by accident. She walked in requesting a standard bob refresh, and during her consultation, she said she used to have short hair and it was a big decision for her. I started pulling the back of her hair up because I wanted to create more graduation. I was watching her through the mirror and she suddenly got quiet and started smiling. That cut kind of made me realize the value in that specific shape on more mature hair because the stack creates volume and structure where hair tends to lose it most at the crown and back without needing to put a ton of effort in with products or daily styling.

What works so well for this age group with stacked pixies is that instead of working against the changes in hair with some grays, soft texture, and fine denser hair, they work with them. All of this supports working with appropriate forms of graduation and layering when done correctly. For those who have been in a pixie for years or if it is your first time wanting to go short, I have put together a selection of fresh stacked pixie styles that I think you should see.

Softly Textured Stacked Pixie with Subtle Highlights

#1: A Soft, Textured Stack with Just a Whisper of Highlight

The flattering length of this cut is nape-grazing and just enough coverage to feel comfy while keeping things short enough for the grad to do its job. The highlights are subtle and more like light catching the layers rather than an obvious color choice, and that’s what gives fine hair a fuller look. What I continue to appreciate with this style, is how much the face framing layers soften everything without needing to over-style. If you are type of person who wants wash and wear, throw in a little texturizing cream and you’re good to go, then this is a perfect option.

Sculpted Blonde Stacked Pixie with Deep Side Apex and Root Shadow

#2 A Sculpted Blonde Pixie with a Deep Side Part and Root Depth

Most of these cuts really still depend on the architecture and construction. The back is cleanly stacked and graduated, which gives the crown natural height, and the longer sweep that crosses the forehead from a deep side part makes it looks intentional and a bit glamorous. The root shadow here is so good. It gives the blonde some depth so it doesn’t look flat or one-dimensional, and it also means you won’t be having to go back to the salon every four weeks. A sweep like this does require some daily maintenance, so be ready to spend some time with a round brush and a dryer to get it how you want, but the this is a big commitment, and the most important part is that you really want to do that.

Cropped Layered Pixie with Lifted Radial Crown and Long Side Fringe

#3 A Very Short Crop with Crown Height and a Long Side Fringe

This cut feels architecturally interesting. Nape is cut close, the crown has some lift with graduation, and the fringe is long and sweeps across to one side in an elegant effortless way. The babylights frame the face beautifully. This cut has a certain confidence, because for one, the color and the hair is clearly done by someone skilled. Most of the mistakes that can be hidden are gone, and because of that the cut either looks bad or, in this case, amazing. I really admire the confidence that this cut shows.

Soft Golden Stacked Pixie with Brushed-Over Long Top

#4 Golden Stacked Pixie with a Longer Brushed-Over Top

I see how these types of cuts compliment these shapes and emphasize the great bone structure of the clients. The top features plenty of length to brush up and touch the eyes, and the nape is nicely tapered and that contrast offers a lot of visual work. The shadow root prevents the golden tones from being too bright and provides some equilibrium to the whole look. Blow drying the top into position is a must, there’s no shortcut for that, but the remainder of this haircut is pretty simple to maintain. If your hair tends to lie flat and is fine to medium, the radial graduation in the crown will give you a lift you never thought possible without backcombing.

Short Layered Copper Pixie with Radial Graduation and Wispy Temple Tabs

#5 A Copper Pixie with Radial Graduation and Wispy Details at the Temples

The first element that I noticed was the colour! The warm copper hue looks rich but doesn’t give a costume vibe, and it’s also an interesting cut. Top has a radial graduation that builds height, and the sides have fine wispy pieces that help achieve a softer look overall. I find that copper colours look really nice on women who haven’t tried red, as it warms up the complexion. This cut will show off your earrings and if that is not something you care about, your small crown cowlick is working for you here, which is a happy accident. Lightweight mousse is all you need to hold this shape.

Dark Brunette Sculpted Pixie with Lifted Crown and Diagonal Side Sweep

#6 Dark Brunette Sculpted Pixie with Crown Height and a Diagonal Sweep

The hairstyle seems well done and organised. The rich dark brown colour seems to be a single process which is good as it will be easier to maintain. A diagonal sweep across the fringe provides some movement and direction. The graduation at the back gives height at the crown without any annoying bulk which is perfect for finer hair types. This cut really elongates the neck and the tapered nape is fantastic for that. The haircut is very clean and is not meant to do anything overly creative. It’s well executed and flattering which is sometimes the best a haircut can be.

Voluminous Chestnut Stacked Pixie with Soft Diagonal Temple Tab

#7 Chestnut Stacked Pixie with a Soft Temple Detail

The internal graduated layers of the crown are providing the shape and elevation to this style, and then there’s this lovely little diagonal section at the temple which gives an interesting frame to the jaw. The chestnut color is lovely and warm and not too heavy, but it is going to require upkeep with gloss treatments if you want to keep that richness over time. It’s also cut above the nape which gives the style an effortless feeling that can be hard to get with a short cut. The styling commitment is genuinely low on this one.

Short Warm Brunette Stacked Pixie with Soft Side Fringe

#8 Warm Brunette Stacked Pixie with a Short Side Fringe

This cut makes me think of the women who walk in here with confidence and a clear vision. I mean this as a compliment. The strong graduation at the crown brings in all the volume and the ends that are razor cut help to not make it look too blunt. Lets not forget the small tapered piece that goes behind the ear because believe it or not it does a lot. It visually makes the neck longer and the profile very clean. The fringe is just an inch or two, enough to soften the forehead whilst still being completely out of the way.

Auburn Radial-Stacked Pixie with Soft Face-Framing Layers

#9 Auburn Stacked Pixie with Feathered Face-Framing Pieces

This hairstyle features a rounded shape created by the very well executed radial graduation at the top. The side micro-feathers soften the look around the face, and they do so without compromising the structure of the cut. The root shadow blends into the grey beautifully, and while it may seem simple, it definitely helps with the timing of when you need to return to the salon. This hairstyle is daily maintenance intensive and will require root lift spray to keep the top in its desired position, but aside from that, it is very easy to manage.

Cinnamon Ginger Short Stacked Pixie with Graduated Crown

#10 Cinnamon Ginger Pixie with a Graduated Crown

This shade makes me want to jump into a conversation about undertones. I can already see how cinnamon ginger would thrive on some specific skin tones, but how it would totally die on others. It is clear how well this shade works in this example. The graduated crown adds great height and the feathered fringe that sweeps across the forehead in a way that nicely elongates the face. The cropped sides will reveal more of the ear and hairline, so keep that in mind if that is something you are self-conscious about. A root melt is a smart choice with this color so that the grow-out is not so obvious.

Deep Auburn Short Stacked Pixie with Diagonal Micro Fringe

#11 Deep Auburn Pixie with a Diagonal Micro Fringe

The haircuts is extremely short with an aggressive radial graduation on top, along with a slight diagonal fringe that just about touches the forehead. That’s certainly a statement cut, and I think it will absolutely suit certain people. Her hair has nice dimension with the deep auburn color and some subtle lowlights and a root smudge, but if I’m being honest, red tones tend to fade quicker than almost any color, so I hope you are ready to commit to more color appointments than you might like. The crown will require some daily maintenance to keep it looking good and going where you want it, but the overall appearance is quite sleek in a positive sense.

Auburn Stacked Pixie with Lifted Radial Crown and Feathered Micro-Fringe

#12 Auburn Stacked Pixie with a Feathered Micro-Fringe and Natural Crown Movement

The left-leaning crown growth makes a great natural high point. Instead of cutting against it, the graduation is meant to accentuate it. That is the kind of detail that separates good haircuts from great ones. The multi-tonal auburn with babylights and a root melt gives warmth and dimension to the style. It will take a bit of texturizing paste to define those crown layers, but maintenance is fairly reasonable.

Layered Chestnut Stacked Pixie with Soft Side Sweep

#13 Layered Chestnut Pixie with a Longer Side Sweep

This longer side sweep offers a different look to the shorter pixies, and offers a softness that I think will appeal to the female clientele who desire the easier maintenance of a pixie, but aren’t ready to lose all the length around the face. The internal graduation and point-cut layering offer the lift at the crown, and the babylight placement at the temple brightens without being too obvious. A round brush and likely a light texturizer are recommended to shape it daily, but the actual time commitment is not going to be high.

Sunlit Feathered Stacked Pixie with Soft Side Wave

#14 A Sunlit Feathered Pixie with a Soft Wave Through the Top

I like this one because it has a real natural feel rather than a faux one. The gentle waves provide movement and a graduated nape remains nice and clean. The blonde is a warm, sunlit color which is beautiful for brightening the complexion. Unfortunately, blonds at this level tend to be brassy, so regular toning is the trade-off. There is a slight left crown cowlick which is giving some natural lift. My favorite thing when cutting is finding those little natural gifts that just need a little encouragement.

Chic Short Stacked Pixie with Side-Swept Fringe

#15 A Clean Stacked Pixie with a Side-Swept Fringe

The crown has a slightly coppery balayage and chestnut red base which creates a nice light reflection that animates the hair. The colour is very subtle and may be easy to miss, but it has a big effect. The cut is a forward graduated cut with longer side fringe which creates a sense of movement and direction. These are the types of cuts that are meant to look effortless and take about five minutes to style in the morning if you know what you’re doing.

Short Copper Stacked Pixie with Radial Crown Graduation and Face-Framing Babylights

#16 Copper Stacked Pixie with Soft Babylights Around the Face

All face framing babylights both brighten and soften the face gracefully. The radial crown graduation helps a small cowlick and turns it into some lift, which is always great to see. This cut sits right above the nape with longer layers on top that sweep to one side. The copper hue is warm and flattering, though like all reds, it will take more color upkeep than a brunette would. This shape was practically made for you, if you have fine to medium hair with medium density.

Chestnut Stacked Pixie with Textured Crown and Face-Framing Micro Layers

#17 Chestnut Pixie with Crown Texture and Micro Layers at the Face

Regarding this style, I have used inverted graduation at the nape, and then through the crown, I have used point cutting and razoring to form that textured and lifted shape. I personally love the little ear tuck detail as it adds something a little different. With a texturising product, this is the sort of pixie that looks great air dried, so it has that practicality which I know a lot of my clients appreciate. The longer fringe does soften the face gently and stops the overall effect of the cut being too severe.

Soft Chestnut Stacked Pixie with Radial Crown Lift

#18 Very Short Chestnut Pixie with Radial Crown Lift

The graduated crown is about close to one inch and the nape is more tapered. The soft natural wave in the hair is actually helping the cut look more interesting than it would on completely straight hair. There is a micro taper in the sideburn area at the temple that I want to mention because it softens that cut to face transition in a really lovely way. The babylights blend grey without looking like highlights, they just look like your hair has some natural variation, which is the goal.

Platinum Feathered Stacked Pixie with Side-Swept Fringe

#19 Platinum Feathered Pixie with a Side-Swept Fringe

Going platinum after 50 is always respectful. It’s not an easy journey, but the cut just supports the color this well, it really pays off. Graduated stacking creates volume, and the feathered fringe sweeps softly to the side. There’s a clockwise cowlick at the crown, being used for natural lift rather than fought against, which is a detail I appreciate. The root shadow grounds the platinum so it doesn’t look too stark. You’ll need regular toner to keep the brass at bay, and some finger-styling to maintain texture, but the result is striking.

Stacked Short Pixie with Soft Face-Framing Layers

#20 Stacked Pixie with Soft Layers That Skim the Face

With the cool-ash slice highlights, we can reveal the natural lift of the cowlick and add more dimension to the color. The ear level cut reveals a graduated nape with longer top layers that frame the face. This shape is refined but also soft and unstructured. The ends are not overly blunt due to the use of point razoring. I always tend to notice this on shorter styles as the blunt ends at this length can become quite excessive.

Feathered Copper Stacked Pixie with Lifted Crown

#21 Feathered Copper Pixie with a Lifted Back

The back of the hair has cut stacked and graduated layers which gives a lot of volume. Because of the point cutting and feathering, the top is very light and airy which is ideal for fine and medium hair. The lovely, warm strawberry copper colour has gentle low lights added for more depth. The profile is softened by the combination which is really flattering. The hairstyle looks great and doesn’t require a lot of time. A bit of textured product is all that is needed.

Textured Copper Stacked Pixie with Elevated Crown

#22 Textured Copper Pixie with an Elevated Crown

This cut is all the more intriguing because there is a forward cowlick at the crown and instead of cutting it out, it’s been managed with some diagonal layering and point cutting. Such a technique shows some appreciation for the way hair grows and moves, which is nice. With regards to the multi-dimensional copper, it is nicely done and has real depth to it along with the lowlights. A little paste gives you the piecey separation and that’s about it. For a person with naturally wavy hair, this is a really sensible shape, especially if they don’t want to fight with their texture every morning.

Chocolate Layered Stacked Pixie with Soft Diagonal Fringe

#23 Chocolate Layered Pixie with a Diagonal Fringe

The hairstyle has plenty of internal layers to add texture and shape as well as soft warm babylights that blend beautifully with greys and offer a lovely glow to the complexion. It’s a warm chestnut/brown that’s super versatile as it compliments many different skin tones. This look is very easy to achieve on a daily basis as it only requires a touch of root lift and then very little styling effort.

Warm Copper Stacked Pixie with Textured Crown and Diagonal Micro-Fringe

#24 Warm Copper Pixie with a Textured Crown and Feathered Micro-Fringe

This look has a heavily tapered nape with point cut razor layers at the crown to give lift, as well as a small feathered fringe. The copper color is warm and rich. The warm tone with a temple highlight that reflects the sunlight is beautiful. What I believe makes this work is the juxtaposition of the close-cropped nape and the more textured taller crown. It’s a shape with genuine character! The color will need maintenance and a texturizing paste will be required to keep it looking piecey throughout, but that is a fair trade.

Soft Pastel Stacked Pixie with Feathered Micro-Fringe

#25 Pastel Stacked Pixie with a Feathered Micro-Fringe

Going pastel isn’t something I take lightly. It requires pre-lightening the hair, and on mature hair, that’s not small feat. I do love this ash-rose tone with subtle root shadow and how it brightens the skin in a way more natural colors can’t. The cut has razor-feathering and some crown layering for lift, and the micro-fringe is soft and not blunt at all. That said, if your hair is really fine, do keep in mind that lighter colors can cause the scalp to show more in certain lights, which is worth considering when you’re thinking about color.

Short Textured Stacked Pixie with Wispy Fringe

#26 Short Textured Pixie with a Wispy, Piecey Fringe

The graduated crown gives flattering volume and the wispy bangs really add some personality. The mid ear length sideburns and tapered nape soften the jawline which is a really nice touch. This is the kind of design I would recommend for someone wanting something a little different but not too out there. It does need daily styling for some lift in the crown which is a given with this shape, but once you’ve got the technique down with a dryer the effort is really quite small.

Chic Layered Stacked Pixie Cut

#27 A Layered Stacked Pixie That Feels Effortlessly Put Together

You can tell the best part of this style is how well everything blends. The feathered layers blend into each other and the back is stacked so that there is a nice silhouette from every angle. The amount of highlights is just enough to add some life to the hair without looking like a color service and that fits the vibe perfectly. This style gives off the impression that you just woke up and everything just fell into place when in reality, it’s all the effort that was put into the cut.

Warm Reddish-Brown Stacked Pixie with Textured Layers

#28 Warm Reddish-Brown Pixie with Textured Movement

This reddish-brown color looks warm and good with almost every skin tone and the texturized layers will give it movement without making the hair look thin. The contrasting shorter nape and longer front layers create a directional flowing look which I think looks super modern. All in all, this is a really simple cut that ticks all the boxes, keeps your mornings hassle free, and looks smart when you walk out the door.

Textured Stacked Pixie Cut with Soft Layers

#29 A Textured Pixie with Soft Layering and a Flattering Shape

I appreciate how shorter cuts accentuate the jawline, and the length is just about the ears. The natural texture is balanced by the layering, and by going with the natural texture, you avoid going overboard. For fine to medium density hair, this is the balance you’re looking for. Some highlights add brightness to the overall look and lighten it. This cut is also low maintenance and doesn’t ask much of you – just the occasional trim to keep the shape fresh.

Textured Dark Chocolate Stacked Pixie with Soft Layers

#30 Dark Chocolate Textured Pixie with Soft Layers

The Tousle style here is playful. The color also adds to the look. Dark chocolate is very universal for all skin tones. This cut will need regular trimming to maintain the length and structure, but the layers will add volume and texture. I think this cut is suitable for anything from a Tuesday afternoon shopping trip to going out for dinner.

Softly Textured Stacked Pixie Cut

#31 Gently Textured Stacked Pixie with Understated Highlights

The mix of shorter layers in the back and crown looks good. The volume is natural, not stiff, which is a sign of a good cut. The stacking in back is soft enough to make shape but not so harsh that it looks dated. The highlights are nice because they give dimension without being too much and competing with the cut. I recommend powder for added texture but honestly this one does a lot of the work on its own.

Stylish Textured Stacked Pixie Cut

#32 A Warm Brunette Textured Pixie with Feathered Bangs

This style has bangs which soften and flatter the look without overwhelming the face. The warm brown color reflects light and provides depth to the hair which fine hair often lacks. The added dimension also counteracts the flat appearance fine hair can have with one color. The layering throughout creates nice volume at the crown and the overall form is modern and effortless. With minimal daily styling the cut looks nice with regular trims.

Warm Chestnut Stacked Pixie with Subtle Highlights

#33 Warm Chestnut Pixie with Tousled Layers and Subtle Warmth

The movement shown in the messy layers looks effortless and that is always the goal. The warm chestnut tone with soft highlights is brightening around the face. This is definitely one of those cuts where the shape does the majority of the work; the layers around the face frame create a natural softness and the stacking is done where it’s needed most. Most pixie cuts this good need to be kept up with regular trims to maintain the shape and this one is no different.

Modern Layered Stacked Pixie with Subtle Highlights

#34 A Layered Pixie with Height and Soft Blended Highlights

I notice the height with this cut. There is real lift through the crown that is achieved from layering and graduation and the blended highlights elevate that even more by drawing the eye upward. Length sits just above the nape for a clean silhouette overall. The asymmetrical layers frame the face in a way that adds interest without going too much. You will need to spend a few minutes with a blowdryer to maintain the bounce, but the cut is doing the majority of the work.

Rich Auburn Textured Stacked Pixie with Soft Waves

#35 Rich Auburn Pixie with Soft Waves and Layered Texture

The soft sleek waves bring such warmth and approachability to this cut. Layered hair texture provides fine hair with fullness, and this deep auburn color is beautifully subtle. The layers are blended so well that the hair flows exactly how you want it to. Just spray a touch of wave spray to ensure the texture stays soft and not crunchy.

Elegant Light Grey Stacked Pixie Cut with Textured Layers

#36 Light Grey Pixie with Textured Layers and a Clean Silhouette

This look really showcases the beauty of a nice silver cut. The layers make the hairstyle look full and move while the shorter hair helps to emphasize the flattering features of the woman’s face. One of the real beauties of going grey is that it brightens and lifts the whole complexion. That being said, keeping a tone is a bit tricky because it can get brassy, but silver shampoo does help a lot.

Textured Light Blonde Stacked Pixie with Subtle Layers

#37 Light Blonde Textured Pixie with Gentle Layering

All face shapes can pull off this haircut, and the gentle layers add volume, making thin hair healthier and fuller. The subtle light blonde color and highlights brighten up the hair and keep it from being overwhelming, which is a struggle with light colors. This haircut does require some styling every day. A quick run through with a hair dryer and some product is all it takes to be ready. The outcome is always consistent which can even be the most important factor.

Chic Textured Stacked Pixie with Soft Layers

#38 A Rich Brown Textured Pixie with Crown Lift

The reason this cut feels so light and airy is because of the technique called ‘creative cutting.’ The soft layers around the crown are designed to create lift and added volume. The shorter back is what offers that modern and easy to manage feeling, and the rich brown tones provide depth and brightness to the overall look. A cut like this doesn’t require a whole lot of maintenance in between appointments, but with a color this rich and vibrant, you will need to do a touch up every few weeks.

Playful Textured Stacked Pixie with Subtle Highlights

#39 A Textured Pixie with Warmth and Soft Movement

The warmth of the color and the highlighted tones look nice against the skin. The layers add more volume to your style and shorter lengths are a nice way to structure and define the jaw. It’s a modern take on a classic shape that is simple to style. Just a touch of defining cream through the ends will give that piecey look to the style and then you’re ready to roll.

Modern Stacked Pixie with Subtle Face-Framing Layers

#40 A Clean Stacked Pixie with Face-Framing Softness

Face framing layers look great and keeps the cut clean while bringing focus to the eyes and cheekbones. The gentle highlights add warmth and depth to medium density hair, and the overall length will keep things easy and manageable for you o those busy mornings. You get an effortlessly sophisticated appearance every day without the shape requiring much from you.

Bold Short Stacked Pixie with Fiery Highlights

#41 A Short Stacked Pixie with Bold, Fiery Color

I appreciate the bold layers because they add height and movement that is really energizing. Fiery highlights warm up and brighten the complexion in an alive way. Stacked layers add volume to the crown which is especially wanted in fine to medium hair. The color is a commitment because red and copper tones have a short time span before needing a touch up, but the cut is flexible to work with day to day and suits most face shapes.

Chic Textured Stacked Pixie with Rich Copper Highlights

#42 Textured Pixie with Rich Copper Highlights

Copper highlights are designed to wrap around your face and capture light to give the haircut a more dimensional look, and the highlights will look stunning. The bottom layers will help create soft movement to provide additional fullness without added weight (even more flow!). The length of the cut is just and flattering to the jawline for extra versatility. Warm tones of copper highlights will give an amazing look and even though they may be an investment with regular maintenance, it is worth it if you love the color!

Soft Blush Stacked Pixie with Textured Layers

#43 Soft Blush Pixie with Playful Textured Layers

I love the idea of blush tones on mature hair. Soft pink has a gentle warmth that is very nice, and feels very right. Those textured layers add additional length that frames the face beautifully, and also adds volume, which is great. For fine hair, a layered cut is always a great option for fullness. Keeping colors that are lighter and more on-trend like this looking intentional can require more maintenance, so that is good to consider when making the decision. Still, the overall impact is fun and modern, without feeling like it is trying too hard to be fun and modern.

Modern Textured Stacked Pixie Cut with Gentle Waves

#44 A Textured Pixie with Gentle Waves and Natural Movement

The way the waves go through the cut gives an almost organic quality to the way the hair looks like it’s just sitting there. The length just above the nape is ideal for round and oval faces. The layers make fine hair look healthy and thick. Light sea salt spray can help enhance the wave pattern. This cut is designed to work with your natural texture, not change it.

Vibrant Copper Stacked Pixie with Soft Texture

#45 Vibrant Copper Pixie with Soft Textured Layers

The warm, copper color along with the smooth-textured layers, adds movement and dimension to the color. The short length beautifully showcases facial features, particularly on square or oval face shapes. For fine to medium density, layers create a fuller look. Like all bright copper colors, this will need regular color maintenance, as well as upkeep to the defined layers. The overall effect is warm and youthful.

Textured Short Stacked Pixie with Subtle Volume

#46 A Short Textured Pixie That Builds Volume Naturally

What I appreciate is that it is the shape that gives the cut its volume rather than product or heat styling. It has face-framing layers since the front is left a bit longer and then shortens towards the back. This gives a fuller look to fine to medium hair types with minimal effort. To maintain the graduated shape, regular trims are a must but other than that, this is an easy style for those who do not want to bother with a lot of effort.

Textured Warm Brown Stacked Pixie with Soft Volume

#47 Warm Brown Textured Pixie with Soft Crown Volume

Brown is a warm color that combines well with the cut. The shorter length around the nape is also very flattering for the face. The natural layering around the crown will typically add a bit of extra lift, and i think that’s a big plus. It works on most face shapes and textures from fine to medium density hair. A little product for definition is nice, but this is certainly not a high maintenance cut.

Effortlessly Textured Stacked Pixie with Soft Movement

#48 An Effortlessly Textured Pixie with Natural, Easy Movement

This style is one that comes across as so effortless yet so good. The shoulder-length tousled look will frame your face and compliments everyone. The added layers give a boost to finer and medium hair and will require less styling than other cuts. The ease of shaking your head after a shower and calling it good, is totally a realistic option for that.

Textured Stacked Pixie with Face-Framing Layers

#49 A Textured Pixie with Layers That Frame and Soften

Softening the look of the overall shape, the face-framing layers on this haircut are doing their job and focusing attention on the features. They highlights are subtle and rich variated texture. This will be easy to maintain between appointments and regular styling will be needed to maintain the shape. A great cut is the foundation and this cut has that.

Chic Textured Stacked Pixie with Silver Highlights

#50 Textured Pixie with Silver Highlights and a Polished, Playful Finish

The silver highlights are beautiful! They give a nice glow to the haircut, and I love how they accent the natural base color. The soft, layered, dimensional look creates movement. The length just above the nape shape is modern and clean. This type of layering is also great for fine, straight hair, because it allows each layer to move independently. You’ll probably need to do some blowdrying to keep the volume up, but the highlights and layers are going to look polished and playful.
